3 (FREE) Ways to Promote your Cannabis Brand



1. Get Involved in your Cannabis Community.


While making professional connections these days is a little bit different, there are still ways to put your business out there. For example, plenty of organizations that are hosting virtual events. If you see an organization hosting a webinar or a podcast and you have knowledge about the topic or your brand coincides with the topic, you could reach out to see if you would be a good fit to speak at one of their events. If speaking isn't your thing, you could also ask if they need volunteers. Volunteering can oftentimes allow you to connect with individuals that you may not get to connect with in other situations. The relationships you establish along your professional journey will help build your brand and are important to nurture.

2. Establish & Regularly Update Social Media


Most Social Media platforms have paid ways to advertise, but it’s important to take advantage of the free capabilities. For example, just having an account and a presence on Facebook and Instagram provides you with useful avenues for promoting your brand.

Known for being the most popular search engine, Google is likely one of the first places we look when we want to learn about a company or product. Google My Business is a free online business listing, which allows people to find your website, contact information, location (if applicable), hours and more. It also allows people to leave those reviews that will be seen when people “Google” you. Other search engines, such as Bing.com, have similar options for businesses that you can set up as well.
